Tuesday's Tip to bENCOURAGEd...

The first day of the week hits and you are off and running - then the questions begin.

“What was I supposed to do today?”

“Oh that is right...begin that project in my (insert area here - bathroom, garden, email…).”

Then the day begins...

breakfast, kids, workout, meetings, lunch, errands - which always take longer than you expect!

By the time dinner time rolls around so does DEFEAT…you begin to feel as if you did not get anything done - at least not what you wanted to accomplish. This is when you tell yourself tomorrow will be different. But at the end of tomorrow you find yourself in the exact same spot.

There has to be a better way.

There has to be a solution.


Because there is a solution - actually there are many "little" solutions that can help you!

The name of this solution may surprise you.

It is actually more of a mindset. A mindset that can help us increase productivity and reduce stress!

I call this mindset “Little Bites Make You Feel Good!” and the best little bite begins with meeting with yourself! Let's jump into...

Little Bite #1.


Years ago I interviewed a top Vice-President in Training and Development, who also happened to be my boss. I asked him what was the biggest tip he had applied in his life that helped him be productive. “I meet with myself weekly” is what he said to me that day. From then on I applied his advice and I too began to increase my productivity. While I did become more productive I also increased my work load and stress. But along the way I learned how to maximize meeting with myself to help me be fulfilled. I began by syncing my calendars, restructuring my thank you and to do list and encouraging myself. I learned how to look back at my previous week and look forward to the week in front of me in order to enjoy each day of the week so I could be Inspired, be Productive, be Fulfilled!
