Wednesday's Word of Encouragement
Commit: to carry into action deliberately; to pledge or assign to some particular course or use.
Establish: to make firm or stable; to introduce and cause to multiply; to bring into existence; to put into a favorable position.
How do we battle thoughts of lack of confidence or purpose? We do this by deliberately acting upon our assignments. What do we know that we should be doing? Then that is what we do - with deliberate action. When we do this our thoughts concerning our purpose are made firm.
As we continue to fulfill the work before us more thoughts are brought forth concerning the work we should be doing. This puts us in a favorable position - for promotion, peace, and fulfillment. Our thoughts begin to multiply - this pattern helps us to bENCOURAGEd Today, so that we can encourage others!
“Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.”
(Prov. 16:3 NKJV)
